So my Mom and her now husband are buying a house together. His house sold before the close date on the new house, so he’s been bringing truckloads of stuff over to her property and it turns out he had a (196x?) Honda Cub!
It was apparently bought for his departed wife who was abnormally short. He modified it for her by grafting on another fuel tank so he could install a lower seat. Since then the original seat has found its way back on and the bike has been sitting in storage for just under a decade. I’m gonna see if he’ll let me have it as a project.
First item on the hypothetical list is to get rid of the awful watermelon paint scheme.
Well, no, the actual first item is to figure out if the crank is seized.

That t ank has got to go. But yeah, free Honda’s are the best Hondas and parts are dirt cheep.
